Duluth

Gateway to the North Shore, Duluth and nearby Superior, WI are the "twin ports" of western Lake Superior. Canal Park is where the tourists head, and while you are there, you can visit the historic Aerial Lift Bridge, a Maritime Museum, and if you're lucky, you'll see one of the large "lakers" or "salties" that visit the port. There's plenty more to see and do around the city so pick up a copy of True North and go exploring.
The Boundary Waters
