Chicago
The Windy City has some unique architecture, along with a few decent photographic stores. Check out the "Bean" in Millenium part, just don't let the Segway-riding security catch you with a tripod or they'll ask you to leave. The Navy Pier area is worth a stop for some people watching and the view of the lighthouse.
