Located in Munising, Michigan, the Grand Island East Channel light is only reachable by boat. My shots came from when I was on a Pictured Rocks cruise. Like the Crisp Point light, stabilization and restoration efforts have been in progress for a number of years. The last time I was there, the lantern room had been taken down for repair and volunteers had nearly completed a breakwall to stabilize the shoreline in front of the light.
