One of the most remote, hardest to reach lighthouses I have been too, making it all the more special. Most pictures you see of this light are quite old as they show a small attached entranceway to the tower - this structure has long since collapsed. The light was in danger of being lost to the eroding shoreline but has a new lease on life thanks to the work of volunteers.
When I visited the light, I was only able to shoot half a roll of film due to being covered with biting black flies every time I stopped moving. Bring plenty of bug spray or visit later in the year when there are less bugs. There are some good shots along the beach with driftwood for the foreground, and it looks to be a nice place for some sunrise/sunset shots if you are able to camp there.
