I'm in Wisconsin working the night shift supporting a computer system installation at one of our paper mills. Ten days into this and I'm ready for a break, or six hours of uninterrupted sleep, or a good meal - not necessarily in that order.
Safety is a priority, especially when you're in a strange manufacturing environment. So all non-local people were issued blaze orange vests "so that we can spot you." While a seemingly good idea, the only thing the locals spot me for is a target - all I need is a plastic stop sign on a handle and I could pass for a crossing guard. Fortunately I can use this thing come bird hunting season so it's not without value. But I digress...
Five more days and then I can go home and see if my wife remembers me.
